DBW Driverpak 85.5mm top end rebuild kit for 1966-79 VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing, and Bus with Type 1 engines. Includes 85.5mm pistons & cylinders, stock style cylinder heads with 35.5mm x 32mm OEM Osvat valves and 51cc combustion chambers, Elring gasket kit, and stock steel pushrod tubes.
This kit will fit any 1300-1600cc VW Type 1 engine and the 85.5mm cylinders fit right in your stock engine case bores.
We recommend inspecting the bottom end while the pistons and cylinders are removed for any excess bearing play. This kit rebuilds the top end of your engine with all new pistons & cylinders, wrist pins, rings, cylinder heads, gaskets, and pushrod tubes.
