DBW Driverpak 94mm 1914cc top end rebuild kit for 1966-79 VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing, and Bus with Type 1 engines. Includes 94mm pistons & cylinders, high performance big valve cylinder heads cut for 94mm pistons with 40mm x 35mm valves and 56cc combustion chambers, Elring gasket kit, and stock steel pushrod tubes.
Included 94mm pistons and cylinders are compatible with up to 69mm stroke crankshafts. Pistons are compatible with up to 74mm stroke cranks, but may require clearancing your rod bolts, engine case, or cylinder skirts.
These Empi 98-1335-B GTV2 performance cylinder heads feature 40mm x 35.5mm stainless valves, 20 percent larger intake and exhaust ports, and plenty of additional material for custom porting. Cylinder heads are machined for 12mm 3/4 inch reach spark plugs.
A thorough inspection of the bottom end should always be performed when replacing pistons and cylinders. This kit only rebuilds the top end of your 1914cc engine with new pistons, cylinders, wrist pins, rings, cylinder heads, gaskets, and pushrod tubes.
This kit will fit a 1914cc VW engine that has already been bored out to fit 94mm pistons and cylinders. This will NOT fit stock engine case.
