DBW single port Driverpak 85.5mm 1600cc top end rebuild kit for 1966-70 VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, or Bus with Type 1 engines. Includes 85.5mm pistons & cylinders, stock style single port cylinder heads with 35mm intake valves, 32mm exhaust valves, and 53cc combustion chambers, Elring gasket kit, and stock style replacement pushrod tubes. This kit will fit any 1300-1600cc VW Type 1 single port engine and the 85.5mm cylinders fit right in your stock engine case bores.
We recommend inspecting the bottom end while the pistons and cylinders are removed for any excess bearing play. This kit rebuilds the top end of your engine with all new pistons & cylinders, wrist pins, rings, cylinder heads, gaskets, and pushrod tubes.
